Students can choose from undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses arranged under fifteen schools of study at the University of Hertfordshire. There are currently around 1,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Engineering which is based on the College Lane campus.
- MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management (1 year full-time, 2 years part-time: This master’s programme was introduced in response to the growing importance of professionally-managed purchasing and supply chains, as well as recognising the strategic value of skilled operations managers. This course is accredited for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
- MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management: (Online -3 years): This course develops skills and knowledge and specifically focuses on the areas of business related to procurement & supply chain management in an operational management context.
- MSc Entry Requirements: An honours degree (at least 2:2 or above) in an engineering discipline or an appropriate science or any other related discipline. International qualifications will be considered on the basis of their equivalence to UK qualifications. Candidates will be required to demonstrate a suitable level of proficiency in written and spoken English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent).
- CIPS L4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply: This is a level 4 qualification consisting of 5 compulsory units; the course is a rolling program and units can be studied in any order. These are open to anyone studying the CIPS Diploma and preparing for an examination. Revision days may be especially useful to those studying independently.
