Established in 1908, the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) is a premier metropolitan research university located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. UNO is classified as a doctoral/research university in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

With over 15,000 students, of which over 10,000 are Fulltime and over 4500 Part Time students. 86% of current UNO students are from Nebraska.

The University of Nebraska Omaha is located in midtown Omaha, with a campus separated in two by Elmwood Park. UNO is the home of the Peter Kiewit Institute a $70 million state-of-the-art computer science facility and engineering facility.

The UNO College of Business Administration is among the one percent of business schools worldwide that hold business and accounting accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.

Academic Programs

Undergraduate Program

  • BS Business Administration (BSBA) in Management: Management assumes the responsibility of achieving an organization’s goals. Managers must know how to lead, develop, sustain and continuously improve the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Managers direct human, financial, physical, and information resources in workplaces challenged with pluralism, globalization, unparalleled opportunities and unprecedented uncertainty.
  • Supply Chain Management Concentration: The Supply Chain Management concentration focuses on the supply chain functions within an organization - logistics (transportation management and scheduling), procurement (purchasing and materials management), effective resource management (lean manufacturing and lean supply chain management) and the three pillars of sustainable supply chains (people, profit and planet). Students will complete 18 credit hours, including 9 hours in required courses and 9 hours in elective courses.
