Netherlands Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Association (NOGEPA - De Nederlandse Olie en Gas Exploratie en Productie Associatie) represents over 13 companies that have license to explore and produce gas. These companies want to contribute towards an open and transparent transition to a fully sustainable energy supply in 2050. An energy supply that is safe, reliable, affordable and accepted.

The NOGEPA industry training standards aim to provide guidance and clarity on a range of topics relevant for onshore and offshore oil and gas operations in the Netherlands and on the Netherlands continental shelf. The Standards cover a wide variety of topics, many of them related to health, safety and environment, and as well as to operational matters.

NOGEPA gives recognition for Training Providers and training courses, provided that the evaluation by means of an audit has been found satisfactory. Safety training are provided in various forms depending on the knowledge, skills, confidence of the delegates, and the requirements of the customer.

Basic Course is intended for delegates attending a training course for the first time or with an invalid or an overdue certificate for that particular course. Refresher Course is intended for delegates attending a training course with a valid certificate for that particular course. And, Scenario Based Training is Intended for delegates training together with the offshore mining installation’s crew to which they are part of.
