Now in its 17th iteration, IMarEST INEC/iSCSS will bring together key stakeholders from industry, academia and government and provide a platform to share ideas, for the designers, engineers and researchers who plan, build, operate, maintain and recycle maritime assets. Our community coming together has never been more important as we face both digital and green transitions in our society. These challenges increasingly lead to complex ship power systems and bring with it opportunities to develop crew skills through new technologies. In 2024, over 300 people from 25 countries will gather in Liverpool for three packed days of discussions, networking and inspiring conversations that will showcase our excellence in the global arena.

Hong Kong Maritime Week takes a more flexible approach to cope with uncertainties caused by the pandemic to “Propel Hong Kong” as a renowned international maritime centre. Through a week of maritime activities, we hope to unite and showcase the Hong Kong maritime industry as a strong cluster, raise the community’s awareness of the economic contributions of Hong Kong’s maritime and port industries. International and local industry luminaries and practitioners will participate in various physical, online and/or hybrid activities ranging from conferences and seminars, ceremony, to maritime-themed visits, tours, competition and game booths.

Riding the Waves for Maritime Safety - The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is organising the 9th run of the International Safety@Sea Week from 29th of August to the 2nd of September 2022. This is an annual platform for MPA to engage members of the international maritime community and top practitioners to raise awareness and exchange views on maritime safety. As part of MPA’s commitment to promoting safety at sea, registration for this event is free. This year’s International Safety@Sea Conference will adopt a hybrid format with option for either online or in-person participation to cater to the event’s growing international audience.

This year, the International Safety@Sea Week 2021 is organised together with the biennial International Chemical and Oil Pollution Conference and Exhibition (ICOPCE). Through ICOPCE, MPA aims to further raise Singapore’s profile as centre for expertise and knowledge in the prevention and response to oil and chemical spills, and as a world-class port and leading international maritime centre.
