Many of the STCW e-learning courses are designed and developed by SQLearn in collaboration with HELMEPA, are accredited by the Cyprus Maritime Administration (EU). Accepted by European Union (EU) flags.

STCW Training (Palau Approved)
- STCW Basic Safety Training Refresher Bundle Online (For all Seafarers Worldwide): The Basic Safety Training refresher/renewal/revalidation bundle consists of following certifications - Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Fire prevention and fire fighting (FPFF), Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR), and Elementary First Aid (EFA). This bundle, is fully fully compliant with all requirements of Sections A-VI/1-1,2,3,4 of the STCW Code as amended including STCW 95 and STCW 2010. This is for mariners / non mariners of 12 months of sea service in the past 24 months & having completed STCW Basic Training before.
- STCW Basic Training Bundle online for Cruise Personnel: STCW Basic Training Refresher bundle contains four (4) e-learning STCW Basic Training Courses, accepted by flags that recognize IMO white list approved training. Courses are fully compliant with all requirements of Sections A-VI/1-1,2,3,4 of the SCTW Code as amended including STCW 95 and STCW 2010 major revisions. This course in only for non-marine roles including Hotel Staff, Stewards, Housekeeping, Cruise ships crews, Super yacht crews. Certificate holder cannot be assigned fire fighting or abandon ship duties.This certificate cannot be converted to COP.
- STCW PST and FPFF Refresher Training Online: This course is fully compliant with all requirements of Sections A-VI/1-1,2 of the SCTW Code as amended including STCW 95 and STCW 2010 major revisions. This is for mariners / non mariners of 12 months of sea service in the past 24 months & having completed STCW PST/FPFF training before.
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques (PST) Refresher Online: The aim of this course is to meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence for seafarers for safety familiarization, basic training and instruction in personal survival techniques in accordance with section A-VI/1, and as set out in table A-VI/1-1 of the STCW Code. This is for mariners / non mariners of 12 months of sea service in the past 24 months & having completed STCW PST training before.
- STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) Refresher Online: This course aims to provide training for candidates in fire prevention and Firefighting, based on the guidelines of STCW section A-VI/1 and IMO Model Course 1.20. This course covers the requirements of STCW 78/95, section A-VI/1, Par. 2, Table A-VI/2 on meeting the minimum standard of competence in fire prevention and firefighting. This is for mariners / non-mariners of 12 months of sea service in the past 24 months & having completed STCW FPFF training before.
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) Online: This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities in accordance with section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code, table A-VI/1-4.
- STCW Elementary First Aid (EFA) Online: This course aims to provide the training for candidates to provide elementary first aid on board ship, in accordance with Section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code. This course covers the requirements of the STCW code Convention Chapter VI, Section AV/1, table A-VI/1-3.
- STCW Ship Security Officer (SSO) Online: This course aims to provide knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Ship Security Officer (SSO), as defined in section A/2.1.6 (and section A/12) of the ISPS Code and in section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code, as amended.
- STCW Security Awareness Training (PSA): This course aims to provide the knowledge required to enable personnel without Designated Security Duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to enhance ship security. In accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6-1 of the STCW Code, as amended.
- STCW Designated Security Duties (DSD): course aims to provide the knowledge required for seafarers with designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code, as amended.
- STCW Crowd Management on Passenger Ships: This course aims to provide to masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on passenger ships the necessary training regarding Crowd Management.
- STCW Crisis Management and Human Behaviour for Passenger Ships: STCW Crisis Management and human behaviour online course covers the mandatory minimum requirements for the training of masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on passenger ships as specified in regulation V/2 of the STCW Convention, section A-V/2, table A-V/2-2.
STCW Maritime Security (EU/Cyprus Approved)
- STCW Security Awareness (PSA) Online: This Cyprus (EU) approved online course provides the knowledge required to enable personnel without designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to enhance ship security in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6-1 of the STCW Code, as amended.
- STCW Designated Security Duties (DSD) Online: This Cyprus (EU) approved online course provides the knowledge required for seafarers with designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code, as amended. Those who successfully complete the course should be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge to undertake the duties assigned under the SSP.
- Ship Security Officer (SSO) Online: This Cyprus (EU) approved online course covers the duties and responsibilities with respect to the security of a ship, for implementing and maintaining a Ship Security Plan and for liaising with the Company Security Officer (CSO) and with Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs). With this course, specific training to address the problem of piracy and armed robbery against ships is emphasized. The framework for this is found in Section A-VI/5 of the 2010 amendments to the STCW Code.
STCW Maritime Security (Panama Approved)
- STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) (Panama Approval): STCW PSSR online course meets the mandatory minimum standards of competence in personal safety and social responsibilities in accordance with section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code, table A-VI/1-4.
- STCW Security Awareness Training (PSA) (Panama Approval): This online course aims to provide the knowledge required to enable personnel without designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP). Course approved by Panama Maritime Administration (PMA).
- Company Security Officer (CSO) (Panama Approval): The aim of this course is to provide adequate knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Company Security Officer (CSO), as defined in paragraph 2.1.7 (and paragraph 11) of the ISPS Code, Part A, Annex of MSC/Circ.1154, and the IMO Model Course 3.20. Course approved by Panama Maritime Administration (PMA).
Ships Cook Course (ABS) Online
- Ship’s Cook Online Certification (MLC 2006 Regulation 3.2) (ABS Certified): This course is aimed at a seafarer who has worked as a cook aboard on merchant vessels so that they are compliant with the MLC 2006. The certificate is issued under Title 3, Regulation 3.2, Standard A3.2, paragraph 1 Guideline B3.2.2 MLC 2006.

- Type-Specific ECDIS Training Online: Type-specific ECDIS courses are designed for all officers of the bridge team involved in ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel.
