The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) is a bi-state port district, public corporation established in 1921 by the states of New York and New Jersey. The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey conceives, builds, operates and maintains infrastructure critical to the New York/New Jersey region’s trade and transportation network. PANYNJ Career Opportunities
Students & Graduates
- Summer Internship Program: 10-12 week paid internships that offer graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to work with knowledgeable and experienced experts in hands-on work assignments related to the student's major. The Internship Program offers management, engineering and architecture internship opportunities for students.
- Leadership Fellows Program: Two-year, fast-track rotational program for graduate students that provides experience in planning, finance, general management and administration and facility operations. This program offers Port Authority Fellows invaluable on-the-job experience in planning, financial and facility operations functions. Each assignment is designed to build a strong foundation of business acumen and knowledge of Port Authority operations.
- Engineering & Architecture Associates Program: A one-year rotational program for undergraduate and graduate students. Opportunities exist within 12 different disciplines. As an incoming associate, you'll spend your first year at several different Port Authority facilities, completing a series of rotational work assignments on large-and small-scale projects that involve different disciplines of engineering and architecture.
