Established in 1966, Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC or Delaware Tech) offers a wide variety of credit programs of study including a bachelor's degree, associate degrees, certificates and diplomas and, is the only community college in the state of Delaware.
The college offers more than 100 associate degrees, diploma and certificate programs in the fields of Agriculture, Business, Computer Technology, Culinary Arts, Education, Energy and Engineering, Health and Science, Public Service, Transportation, and Visual Communications.
The four component campuses that make up the college are Owens Campus in Georgetown, the Stanton Campus, Terry Campus in Dover, and the George Campus in Wilmington. The Owens Campus, a 147-acre campus, meets the unique educational needs of the county and state.
Delaware Tech is an open admission institution that is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Delaware Technical and Community College, in conjunction with Trinity Logistics and other area logistics companies offers a program in logistics in Delaware Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown, and the George Campus in Wilmington.
Academic Programs
- AAS Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations Management: The program is designed to educate students in the areas of procurement, transportation, processing, and storage of materials and information. The associates’ degree prepares students to aid in the design, improvement, installation, and operation of integrated systems of people, materials, and equipment. The program includes technical and related courses that integrate practical applications using industry standard processes, quality control techniques, and the optimization of flow of goods. Graduates are prepared to provide increased operational quality and efficiency, operating cost reduction, innovative solutions to client problems, and valuable customer relationships in industry.
