USCG License Courses and Non Licensing Courses in Beaver Falls PA and Bethany / Rehoboth Area in Delaware

Located at Beaver Falls in Pennsylvania, Nautical Academics provides USCG captains licensing classes and other maritime courses. Over the years they have made their second home on the beaches of Delaware.
Throughout the spring, summer and fall Nautical Academics hold classes in the Bethany/Rehoboth Area near the Indian River Inlet as well. They also offer Accommodations for out of the area students, or students that would like to take advantage of a quiet place to study.
Nautical Academics have some of the most experienced and knowledgeable instructors and is a family owned and operated business with three generations of captains teaching the students.
Apart from the class room courses, they also offer online captains licensing programs for those who do not have to attend a full time class in PA or Delaware.

USCG Captains Programs
- OUPV/ 6-Pack License: This course covers navigation, Rules of the Road , plotting, and deck general with instruction focused on real-world understanding and test readiness.
- Masters License: Master courses build on the core skills while providing the structure and support needed to succeed at a higher level of licensing.
- Towing Endorsement: This course focuses on safety, regulations, and practical considerations to prepare you for both the exam and real-world towing scenarios.
- Sailing Endorsement: Sailing Endorsement course provides the knowledge needed to meet requirements with clear, approachable instruction.
- License Renewal Course: The renewal courses are designed to make the process clear and stress-free, with supportive instruction and straightforward guidance to help you renew with confidence.
- CPR & First Aid: This course helps you feel prepared to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- FCC License: The FCC License is necessary for specific commercial maritime radio use.
- Train the Trainer: The course is designed for experienced mariners and instructors who need to meet requirements for teaching approved courses.
