Training Programs
Leadership & Management Course
- This 5 day course satisfies the STCW 2010 requirement for Leadership and Management Training at the Management Level for deck and engineering officers. This course is currently approved by the USCG. The course meets the latest mandatory requirements for approved training in the human element, leadership and management at the management level and the standards of competence to be achieved as well as the associated assessments/tasks.
- This course is required for officers at the management level such as Chief Mate or Master of 500 gross tonnage or more (II/2) or Second Engineer Officer or Chief Engineer Officer (III/2).
- It is also recommended by the PYA for department heads serving in a management level capacity such as Chief Stewards who desire a higher level of certification and leadership and management training.
