Established in 1966 and located at Fort Dodge Iowa, Iowa Central Community College is a community college with satellite campuses in Webster City and Storm Lake. The centers include Fort Dodge Center, Storm Lake Center, and Webster City Center. The college is accredited by Higher Learning Commission and also offers a wide variety of athletic programs and student clubs.

Iowa Central Community College is a comprehensive college with an open-door admission policy. The two-year Associate in Arts Degree from the Arts and Sciences Division of Iowa Central will enable a student to enter four-year colleges and universities as a junior prepared to complete work toward a bachelor’s degree in any number of major fields of study.

Iowa Central offers internet, Triton Network, and hybrid classes. Students can take classes this way exclusively, or combine traditional and alternative deliveries.

Online courses are very structured in format design, meaning the courses begin and end with the semester dates. Iowa Central offers students the opportunity to enroll and complete Associate Degrees via the 8-Week Online program.

Undergraduate Programs

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Supply Chain Management (63 credits) - Campus/Online: The two-year program culminates with the internship (on-the-job training) in a logistics or transportation related position. Supply Chain Management assume the supply chain system approach to the management of activities such as purchasing, material management, inventory management, operations, packaging, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.

The internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable, real-world experience linking logistics and transportation theories and practices with the working world.
  • The online program combines supply chain management concepts and principles with current business trends. Logistics management offers everything you want in a career – job openings at all levels, excellent salaries, upward mobility, exciting responsibilities and worldwide opportunities.
  • Supply Chain Management Diploma - Campus/Online: This is a 30 credit hours program. Supply Chain Management is a discipline concerned with the efficient and effective flow of materials through the supply chain system.
  • Logistics Management Certificate - Campus/Online: This is a 12 credit hours program.
