Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System) - [OPITO STCW95/2010 Conversion]

OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS - [STCW 95/2010 Conversion] Standard recognizes similarities in the training of marine personnel. The course is designed for new (or returning) personnel from the marine industry who wish to utilize their skills in the oil and gas industry, broadening the career options in this sector.
The OPITO approved BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) with Compressed Air Breathing System (CA-EBS) - (STCW 95/2010 Conversion) course provides the learner with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to travelling offshore by helicopter and working offshore, whilst drawing upon knowledge and skills previously gained through completion of the STCW 95/2010 BST or corresponding refresher training and the OPITO MIST or IMIST including offshore induction, self-rescue; using a CA-EBS; helicopter safety and escape; and survival at sea.
Upon completion of the OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS - [STCW 95/2010 Conversion] course, the learner will have an awareness of the generic hazards encountered when working on offshore installations and the generic safety regimes and safety management systems in place to control and mitigate risks associated with hazards.
