Undergraduate and Masters Programs in Supply Chain Management at KFUPM Business School in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Established in 1963 and located at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is a diverse, vibrant, and multicultural community of faculty, staff, and students, representing 57 nationalities. With over 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students, more than 39,000 students since KFUPM inception.
KFUPM attracts top faculty, both locally and internationally as well as the top 2% of high school graduates in KSA, and also top international students. The academic programs are focused on engineering, basic sciences, computer sciences, and business, and are accredited by international bodies such as ABET, AACSB, as well as the national accrediting body NCAAA.
Over 35 new programs in artificial intelligence and machine learning; cybersecurity and blockchain; robotics and autonomous systems; big data analytics; business analytics; quantum computing; advanced materials; polymers; renewables; and supply chain have been introduced

The university Owns the Dhahran Techno-Valley, which hosts R&D centers for major multinational corporations such as Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Sinopec, Schneider, Yokogawa, Emerson, Honeywell, and Halliburton.
Established in 1975, KFUPM Business School (KBS) offers five undergraduate programs leading to the baccalaureate degrees in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Finance, Management, and Marketing. The KBS Graduate Programs boast an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA), an MBA, and more recently, a Master of Supply Chain Management. KBS programs are accredited by the AACSB International since 2002.
- Supply Chain Management Concentration (1 year with BS Degree): Supply chain management concentration is available for undergraduate student in Management and Marketing majors of KFUPM Business School as well as other students. This interdisciplinary concentration will cover important topics in supply chain management area. It will provide the students with the required knowledge, skills and competencies related to this area. Students will be exposed to topics in different areas such as logistics, operations and sourcing.
- Requirements: Applied Calculus, Operations Management & Business Analytics courses
- Master of Supply Chain Management M-SCM (1 year): This interdisciplinary program provides students with the skills and competence necessary for managing global supply chains, and paves the way for further professional certification in this field. It is one of the most sought-after career advancement tracks, as supply chain management has become an essential component of the success of many businesses, not just globally (Amazon, Alibaba, etc.), but also locally.
