AMSA Approved Domestic Deck, Engine and Fisheries Maritime Qualifications Training Programs in Port Adelaide & Port Lincoln

Founded in 1997, the then Australian Maritime & Fisheries Academy (AMFA) was established as an industry-managed education centre for the maritime, fishing and seafood industries. Offering a broad range of nationally accredited training programs and short courses, the Australian Maritime and Fisheries Academy is continuously developing and customising its wide range of education programmes to meet industry specific requirements.
AMFA is the only industry owned and operated maritime, seafood and fishing industry development and training organisation in the Southern Hemisphere. Its role is to provide education, management, advisory and support services in all maritime and fisheries related development and training areas.
The Academy offers two methods to deliver courses, Blended Learning & Face-to-Face. Blended learning is an online learning experience which allows the student to work remotely in their own time, at their own pace, whilst working towards their chosen practical dates. Face-to-face learning refers to courses delivered in a classroom environment by a Trainer/Assessor.
AMFA students now have wider career options than ever before in the areas of oil and gas. These industries have become a large employer of skilled maritime workers.
