MTSA Training Programs

  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) Training: This is a highly interactive U.S. Coast Guard approved course is designed to educate FSOs on pertinent laws, regulations and policy, including additional modules on current threats. Additionally, the course is rich in resources that participants can take away and use as soon as they get back on-site.
  • Personnel with Specific Security Duties Training: Tis course is rich in resources that participants can take away as references, and offers continuing education through guidelines given to the facility security officer. This course was reviewed by the United State Coast Guard and found to meet the standards of competence provided in 33 CFR 105.210, International Ship and Port Facility Security Code(ISPS) Code Part A/2.1.8, ISPS Code Part A/17, and International Maritime Organization (IMO) Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) (2015 Edition).
  • Maritime Security Awareness Course: This course provides a basic awareness of maritime security and your role in the prevention of a security incidents at your MTSA regulated facility. This course meets the standards of competence provided in 33 CFR 105.210, International Ship and Port Facility Security Code(ISPS) Code Part A/2.1.8, ISPS Code Part A/17, and International Maritime Organization (IMO) Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) (2015 Edition).
