Klein’s sonar systems and derivatives have been used to locate the Titanic, wreckage of the U.S. Space Shuttle Challenger, downed aircraft, including TWA Flight 800, Swiss Air Flight 111, John F. Kennedy Jr.’s plane and Egypt Air Flight 990, a myriad of underwater antiquities, as well as performing the day-to-day work of hydrographic surveys.

Klein has designed, developed, manufactures and supports the HarborGuard Integrated Waterside Security and Surveillance System which combines radar, infrared and daytime video surveillance technology to provide all-weather, day/night security coverage over and under water areas. The HarborGuard System is designed to deter, detect and deny intrusive small targets on the water.

• Side Scan Sonar Customer Specific Training (3 days): Operator and Basic System Maintenance Training for Klein Systems is available at Klein's facility in Salem, NH for a group of 20 people (maximum). Training includes - 2 days in classroom, 1 day at sea, and SSS interpretation and training manual per student.
• On-Site Side Scan Sonar Customer Training (3 days): Training includes - 2 days in classroom, 1 day at sea, and SSS interpretation and training manual per student.
• Hydrographic Survey Systems Training (3 days): Operator and Basic System Maintenance Training for Klein Hydrographic Survey systems is available at Klein's facility in Salem, New Hampshire. Training includes - 2 days in classroom, 1 day at sea, and training manual.
• HarborGuard System Training: Operator and Maintenance training courses for the HarborGuard System are provided by Klein Marine Systems, Inc. upon customer request. The HarborGuard System is configurable hence training courses are normally tailored to the installed system configuration(s). Onsite training following system commissioning is recommended to ensure the students understand the specifics of their system configuration.
• Fundamental HarborGuard Training Courses: These courses may not reflect the actual equipment configuration as deployed onsite at the customer's location.
• Klein 3900 Training Video: Provided by Black Laser Learning, this training video will show you how to operate the Klein 3900 sonar utilizing the Klein Sonar Pro software. It is a perfect training solution for first timers using the system or those needing a refresher.
