The Australian Maritime College (AMC) is an internationally recognized maritime and marine tertiary education institution based in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia and is part of the University of Tasmania (UTAS). AMC is Australia's national center for maritime education, training and research. It has two campuses located within 31 miles of each other in Northern Tasmania, each with different facilities and residence.
AMC offers a range of degrees with flexible entry requirements that will help you leverage on your previous studies and guide you into professional growth. AMC also offers a higher degree by research (HDR) program of study by either a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). An HDR candidate works independently under the direction of one or more academic supervisors on a research program, the net result of which is a substantial written document, or thesis.
A Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree normally takes from one to two years full-time, or up to four years part-time, and a PhD normally takes from three full-time, or up to eight years part-time and is the highest level university qualification. - Master of Maritime Engineering (Naval Engineering) - 1.5 years (online): The course has been specifically designed to provide a flexible learning approach through interactive online study. In addition, some units are also available for on-campus study.
- Master of Maritime Engineering (Technology Management) - 1.5 years (online): The Master of Maritime Engineering degree is targeted at engineering professionals already in the workforce, who wish to pursue or develop a career in the technical management of maritime engineering projects.

- MBA (Maritime and Logistics Management) - 1.5 years: The Master of Business Administration (Maritime and Logistics Management) is a complete management course for people wishing to acquire specific management skills appropriate for the maritime and logistics industries. The maritime and logistics industries are at the forefront of International Trade and are exciting, dynamic and challenging industries in which to work.
- MBA (Advanced) (Maritime and Logistics Management) - 2 years: This program is similar to the standard MBA however you will complete an additional four units, completing 16 units in total and with two options available for study.
- MBA Marine Environment and Management (1.5 years): This course provides a platform for students who wish to combine the knowledge and skills delivered through the Maritime and Logistics Management MBA program with discipline specific units offering practical application within the marine environment.
- MBA (Maritime Technology and Management) - 1.5 years: This course provides a platform for students who wish to combine the knowledge and skills delivered through the Maritime and Logistics Management MBA program with discipline specific units.

- Master of Logistics Management (Advanced) (1.5 years): The Master of Logistics Management (Advanced) course provides a broad focus on logistics and is suitable for students with future employment or current professional experience in private enterprise, industry or government, involved in demand and production planning, the transport industry, retail companies, logistics service provider companies, port authorities, the safe and efficient distribution of goods, agribusiness, Security and international humanitarian logistics. Students undertaking the Master of Logistics Management (Advanced) also have the option of the following interim exit awards:
