GWO Safety Training

GWO Basic Safety Training 5 Day Full: This course is aimed at personnel who will be working in the wind industry or related fields and will have their duties in a wind turbine environment, usually in physical contact with a wind turbine or an offshore wind structure.
GWO Basic Safety Training 4 Day Refresher: The GWO refresher is perfect for individuals or groups that maintain duties in an offshore wind turbine environment. In order to take part in this GWO refresher, you must provide proof of up-to-date GWO Basic Safety Training certificates.
GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore 3.5 Day BST (4 modules)

GWO First Aids Courses

GWO Enhanced First Aid: Students can access this course without any previous first aid certification, and two certificates will be issued on completion: GWO First Aid and GWO Enhanced First Aid.
GWO First Aid: Covers all of the practical and theoretical basics of first aid.
GWO First Aid Refresher: Your GWO First Aid certificate must be in date at the time you attend this course.

GWO Fire Awareness / Fire Awareness Refresher: The GWO Fire Awareness Refresher module covers the same content, duration and learning objectives as our standard fire awareness course, so it’s open to first-time delegates and refresher delegates.
GWO Manual Handling / Manual Handling Refresher: The in-depth GWO Manual Handling Course is specifically aimed at personnel who work, or will be working, in the wind industry or another related field. This may include duties on wind turbines or other offshore structures that require knowledge gained from GWO Manual Handling.
GWO Sea Survival / Sea Survival Refresher: The GWO Sea Survival Course features a classroom session designed to allow individuals to show a good understanding of: legislation associated with sea survival in the UK, exposure, hypothermia, drowning, life-saving appliances, PPE and the transfer process.
GWO Slinger Signaller: The aim of the GWO Slinger Signaller training module is to enable offshore personnel to support and care for themselves and others while slinging, signalling and managing lifts / loads in the offshore wind environment, by possessing the required knowledge and skills to conduct assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
