Established in 2007 after a merger of University of Paisley (founded in 1897) and Belle College Hamilton, University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is a public university with five campuses at Paisley, Hamilton, Dumfries and Ayr in Scotland and in London.

Academic Programs

Masters Program (Scotland)

  • MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (1-2 years full-time & 3 years part-time - Paisley Campus): This course will equip you with the specialist knowledge and training to design and manage effective logistics and supply chain systems, creating managerial opportunities in the public and private sectors. You will study all aspects of logistics and supply chain management, covering the range of activities associated with the efficient flow and storage of goods, services and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption in response to consumer requirements.
  • Admission Requirements: The schools welcomes Scottish, UK and international students and considers all applicants on an individual basis and take a range of factors into account when assessing your application and consider other alternative combinations of qualifications and experience. All students should apply directly to the University through the online application system.

Masters Program (London)

  • MBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management (1 year full time - London Campus): Taught by industry specialists, you’ll be prepared for a dynamic business environment, developing leadership skills and the know-how to apply conceptual management theories to real world scenarios. You’ll learn how supply chain and logistics connect with broader business strategy to drive great results. You’ll gain competencies in critical thinking, strategic reasoning and creative problem solving - everything you need to succeed at the highest level. Successful MBA with Logistics and Supply Chain Management graduates often go on to work for SMEs or global organisations such as Toyota, Premier Foods, HP, BAE Systems, Carrefour, European consultancy groups, and many more.
  • Entry Requirements: You will normally be expected to satisfy at least one of the following admission requirements: Have a degree awarded by an appropriate institution, Have a postgraduate award (passed at an appropriate level), Have an appropriate professional qualification such as those from ACCA or CIMA, Have passed a pre-Master’s, or other foundation course, OR be a mature student with relevant work or professional experienc.
