Training Programs
Marine Refrigeration Programs
- Marine Refrigeration Course (5 days, Somerset & Mallorca): This course covers the principles of refrigeration for the marine and offshore industry. The first two days look at the theory of thermodynamics, the vapor compression cycle, energy efficiency and the repair process. The next two days are fully practical, and you will be trained on how to repair a system to industry standards. The final day is exams.
- Marine Refrigeration Masterclass (6 weeks online): 6 weeks of personal online training with tutor + full documentation pack + 12 months of follow up technical support + City & Guilds FGas Certificate. This course is for marine engineers and you could be in the superyacht industry or the cruise ships through to the merchant navy, including LNG Tankers, Cargo ships or supply vessels. It is also very relevant to any electricians, mechanics or ventilation technicians who work offshore in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Refrigeration Masterclass - Without Tutorial Support (6 weeks online): The course is completed by remote learning and each week a new topic of content will be released. You will be required to complete all tasks including e-lessons, videos, study guides and quizzes. This course is for marine engineers working at sea and is also very relevant to any electricians, mechanics or ventilation technicians who work offshore in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Marine Refrigeration Course (5 Day Practical): A Marine Refrigeration Course for engineers working on Superyachts, Merchant Navy Vessels, Oil and Gas Platforms, Jackups, Semi-Subs, Ferries and Cruise Ships. This course covers the theory of refrigeration and teaches you how to repair, troubleshoot and commission these systems.
- Practical Refrigeration Course (3 Days): This Practical refrigeration training course (3 days) has been put together to allow you to study the theory from your home or workplace and only attend our training facility 3 days instead of the full 5 days. This course is specifically aimed at Chief Engineers, 2nd, 3rd and 4th's, so no matter what your level of experience you will be considered for a placement on this course.
- Ventilation & Air Balancing (Online): An essential course for anyone working on ventilation systems in the marine or offshore industry.
- Fundamentals of Marine Refrigeration (Online): The course is aimed at rig workers, mechanics, electricians, marine engineers, barge engineers and supervisors or managers in a technical role. These roles could be offshore on a variety of installations including fixed platforms, jackups, drillships, supply boats or onshore in the project engineering team.
