MCA Approved STCW Maritime Training at Withernsea and Various Locations Across the East and West Coast of England
East Coast Maritime Training (EMCT) offers RYA and MCA approved training courses at their training facilities in Withernsea and also in Hull, Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and various locations across the East and West Coast of England.
Previously known as the Yorkshire & Humber Fishermen’s Training Association, an Industry-led Association providing training for companies in the catching sector, ECMT also delivers safety training to crews of British registered vessels abroad.
ECMT also offers free impartial help and advice on training related matters to anyone involved in the maritime industry, as well as assisting Skippers in creating their own vessel risk assessment/safety management systems.
Apart from the above, ECMT also co-ordinate Skippers, Mate & Engineers MCA Certificates of Competency through college based learning and, provide Vessel Owners / Skippers / Company Managers with help in the recruitment & Training of trainee Deckhands.
