STCW Officer & Master 200/500GT Program, STCW Safety Training and RYA Leisure Craft Training Programs in Antwerp

Located in Antwerp Belgium, NaviClass Nautical Training Centre provides specialized boating courses for pleasure craft and professional shipping. NaviClass also provides Belgian Maritime Administration approved STCW training programs and, RYA approved training centre for various RYA courses such as Yachmaster and other endorsement Programs.
NaviClass Nautical Training Centre is also ISO 9001 certified since it is a requirement by the Belgian authorities for STCW training programs. NaviClass can offer a range of courses from Basic Safety to Master 500 GT and more.
These qualifications can lead to a career in the Belgian yacht industry. Apart from Belgian Maritime Administration, some other flag states such as Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime and Corporate Registries approves Belgian CoC.
For each course you’ve completed, you will get a NaviClass certificate and this certificate, along with your STCW certificates, certificates of service and medical fitness certificate must be forwarded to the Belgian Maritime Administration to get a Belgian CoC.

Training Programs
STCW Competency Courses
- STCW OOW & Master Commercial Yachting 200GT/2.5 - 24m up to 30 NM: With this professional Boating License commercial yachting you can sail yachts and boats up to a maximum of 200GT, between 2.5 and 24 meters, with a maximum of 12 paying passengers, up to 30 nautical miles from a coast.
- STCW Officer & Master 500GT: With a professional license commercial yachting one is allowed to commercially sail with yachts up to 500 gt with a maximum of 12 paying passengers.
- STCW Estuary Shipping: Needed for inland vessels who are used up to 5 nautical miles from the coast and in estuaries such as the Westerschelde. Every skipper on a inland vessel which is used for “estuary shipping” must be in possession of an appropriate certificate (in accordance KB 24/05/2006 Regulation VII / 5).
- STCW Rating FPNW (5 days): Rating forming part of a Navigational watch. With this professional certificate you can work as a crew and officer on sea ship in merchant shipping.
STCW Proficiency Courses
- STCW Basic Safety Training: Maritime Security training mandatory for everyone who is sailing at sea on professional basis.
- STCW (Refresher) Personal Survival Techniques: Personal Survival Techniques is required for professional skippers and officer and essential for all leisure skippers. Fundamental insights, practical knowledge and swimming pool exercises.
- STCW Elementary First Aid: First Aid is essential for all skippers and required for your RYA / MCA Yacht master offshore. This knowledge can save life and prevent grave injuries.
- STCW (Refresher) Fire Fighting: This course is essential part of the safety training of crew and skippers.
- STCW Security Awareness: All sailors, from sailor to captain who want to sail for professional reasons should have followed the training STCW Security Awareness.

Practical Sailing Courses
