Training Programs

Port Operations Courses

  • Tallyman: The training Tallyman is made up to suit all personnel that, during their activities, have to control the loading and un-loading of Cargo.
  • Lashing & Securing: During this course, all aspects on cargo securing of different cargo on different carriers are being trained. Depending on the needs of the customer, the course will contain lashing & securing on sea vessels, barges, flat-racks and Mafi’s, in containers, on trailers, etc.
  • Docker, Port Worker: This course highlights all aspects of all port operational activities, loading and unloading of containers, loading and unloading of general cargo, heavy lifts, how to lash and hoist project cargo, lashing materials and lashing factors, how to work in a safe environment both for the worker as for his team mates, getting around on board of a ship, reading a cargo plan, and so much more.
  • Foreman Lashing & Securing: During the training-path next subjects will be studied in depth: legal and other regulations, the forces that apply on the load during the transportation, the calculation of these forces and the lashing factors, reading and interpretation of cargo load-plans and the reporting of the activities.
  • Foreman: This training aims all personnel that has to lead other co-workers of a team port-workers.
  • Signalman: For all terminal operators that have to provide guidance to crane operators with no or limited view.
  • Communication of Safety Issues: During this course the delegates learn how to communicate the safety strategy, specifically on harbor activities, in practice.
  • Lifting Methods and Lifting Gear: For all workers who during their daily activities have to hoist and hook up goods, and also for the people in charge. The use of lifting devices requires specific training.

Cranes Courses

  • Loader Crane: This is the ideal course for all future loader crane operators, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required.
  • Gantry-Crane & Hoisting Material: This is the ideal course for all future Gantry crane operators, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required.
  • Rail Mounted Gantry (RTG) and Rubber Tired Gantry (RMG): This course is for everybody who wishes to operate a RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry) or RMG (Rail Mounted Gantry) crane, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required.
  • Mobile Harbor Crane: This course aims for operational Mobile Harbor Crane (MHC) operators. The training course has a Practical as well as a Theoretical part.
  • E-Crane: This course is for everybody who wishes to drive and operate an E-crane, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required.
  • Ship to Shore Crane (STS): This course is for all future Ship to Shore crane operators, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required. Sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical skills are taught in order work with a crane in a safe and productive way and this according safety regulation and legislation.
  • Vessel Crane: This course is for everybody who wishes to drive and operate a vessel crane, and of whom a multifunctional knowledge is required.

Work at Height Courses

  • Scaffolding - User, Construction and Inspection (1 day): Depending on the target audience, the aim of the training is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to user- work on a scaffolding, and construction & inspection - build up and inspect a scaffolding.
  • Rolling Scaffolding (1 day): The aim of the training is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to build up and work with a rolling scaffolding, in a safe and productive way.
  • Lifting-Ramp (1 day): The aim of the training is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to work with a lifting-ramp, in a safe and productive way.
  • Scissor-Lift (1 day): The aim of the training is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to work with a Scissor-lift, in a safe and productive way.
