Established in 1996, Survival Systems Training Limited (SSTL) provides safety and survival training courses for the marine and offshore industries in Dartmouth, Canada. SSTL’s programs meet or exceed regulatory directives in oil and gas, marine, aviation and industrial sectors. SSTL delivers training on-site at its Dartmouth center, or as a satellite delivery project at the client’s premises.
Survival Systems Training programs emphasize the effectiveness of performance-oriented training and has trained thousands of employees from over fifteen hundred companies around the world. SSTL delivers two recognized standards of marine training, STCW and the Transport Canada crew safety certification, to meet the needs of vessels of different sizes with different safety equipment requirements and the needs of clients operating in Canadian or other jurisdictions.
SSTL provides specialized marine training solutions in boarding larger vessels from small boats – transfers or interdictions, yachting / offshore racing, and commercial marine activities such as tourism, film production, tidal energy, and aquaculture. SSTL also offers Canadian and international offshore training programs.
