Established in 1998 and located at Marina Bay, Gibraltar, Allabroad Maritime Academy is a RYA Recognized Training Center & MCA Accredited Course provider. With Allabroad Maritime Training, you undertake your MCA training using modern teaching techniques with high quality training equipment.
The academy use a professional purpose-built fire training Simulator that is under push button control, allowing you to be trained in how to fight a real fire in a confined space. Other facilities include a smoke room for fire training and indoor swimming pool for survival training activities.
Allabroad Sailing Academy offer the full RYA Sail Cruising and Powerboat schemes along with all shore based and online courses. Allabroad has courses suitable for complete beginners to courses for commercial Yachtmasters. Allabroad is able to offer customers training onboard brand new Jeanneau 389 sailing yachts and you will find your training yacht has all the latest technology, to help avoid collisions at sea and navigate safely in poor visibility.

Superyacht Crew Training Courses
- Superyacht Crew - Starter Package (5 days): It is mandatory for all Superyacht Crew, whether interior crew or deckhand, to have completed the STCW Basic Safety Training course. Courses include - MCA STCW Basic Safety Training & Security Awareness.
- Superyacht Crew - Silver Package (7 days): This package includes everything from the Starter Package plus qualifies you with the additional, highly valued skills, of running ship to shore guest transfers and supply runs, operating the radio and handling food. Courses include - MCA STCW Basic Safety Training, Security Awareness, Food Safety Level 2, SRC Radio Course & Assessment, and RYA Powerboat Level 2.
- Superyacht Crew - Gold Package (4 weeks): This course includes everything from the Starter and Silver Packages, plus hands on experience of life on board as crew - with time living on board a sailing yacht and being part of the crew managing the vessel. Courses include silver package plus - RYA Competent Crew Sail, Day Skipper Theory Navigation, Day Skipper Practical Sail, Watch keeping duties & deck duties, and Vessel care & basic maintenance.
