The course identifies the different types of Bills of Lading, and in particular look at the different functions of the Bill of Lading, besides also identifying the key statutes on bills of lading.
It also includes topics such as common law undertaking such as the Hague and Hague/Visby Rules, voyage charterparties such as freight and how freight is calculated, time charterparties such as hire and the payment obligation, maritime arbitration and how it helps in the settlement of maritime disputes.
