Established in 1992 and located at Norwalk Connecticut, ECM Training Services (ECMTS) is a part of ECM Maritime Services which provides OPA 90 services to the maritime industry and is one of the world’s leading regulatory consulting, compliance, and emergency response companies.
ECM Training Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of ECM Maritime Services offers on-line maritime training and skills programs which are designed to provide sea-faring and on-shore personnel alike with convenient access to an extensive portfolio of topics and specialties.
The online and blended maritime educational programs offer individual skills training courses, as well as course combinations designed to provide a strong basis of knowledge for new entrants into a field of study and professionals looking to advance their skills.
All ECM Training Services courses run on a platform based on a proven learning model which employs an engaging kick-off session, followed by e-Book self-study, quizzes, homework assignments, and virtual labs.
Every course offered by ECM is either accredited by either DNV or the US Coast Guard, or is currently in the accreditation process (noted per course).
