Founded in 1999, Goodwin College is a private nonprofit institution of four-year higher education institution located on East Hartford, Connecticut and offers a variety of certificate and associate degree programs along with bachelor's degree programs business management and various other majors.

Goodwin College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.

Goodwin College was founded with the goal of serving a diverse student population with career-focused degree programs that lead to strong employment outcomes. The Department of Business, Management and Advanced Manufacturing at Goodwin College prepares career-focused individuals capable of technical, professional and interpersonal competencies to meet the needs of respective stakeholders.

Apart from the supply chain management program, college offers BS programs in Business Administration, Management and Leadership, Manufacturing Management, Accounting and AS degree in CNC Machining and Related Certificates.

Academic Programs

Undergraduate Program

  • AS in Supply Chain and Logistics Management: The program prepares students for entry-level positions in the Supply Chain and Logistics Management field or to pursue a baccalaureate degree. It is also an excellent program for people who are working in the Supply Chain and Logistics Management field without a degree who seek advancement opportunities in their chosen career that require an associate degree. The program covers the basics of supply chain management, manufacturing planning and control, purchasing and the physical distribution of goods to customers. Teamwork and communications skills will be enhanced by the use of lean process improvement techniques to improve warehouse, inventory and transportation costs for domestic and international supply chain operations. Students have the opportunity to receive credentials from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) as a Certified Production Technician (CPT) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT). Students may choose to continue their studies in a range of BS programs including Manufacturing Management and Business Administration programs.
