Upon its establishment, Maritime Training Online emerged from a foundation of expertise in the maritime sector. The organization originated with a focus on dynamic positioning and offshore operations, stemming from its founder’s background as a USCG licensed Mate who began their career as a Ballast Control Operator in the Oil & Gas industry. After gaining substantial experience on dynamic positioning drilling vessels, the organization shifted its mission to education, launching training programs for mariners in 2006.

With a primary focus on MODU Stability, Maritime Training Online has adapted to evolving regulations that enhance safety culture and job performance offshore. Recognizing the challenges mariners face with time away from home, the organization leverages current advancements in technology to offer convenient training solutions.

Through interactive e-learning platforms, Maritime Training Online enables mariners to engage with their training at their own pace, regardless of location or time zone. This innovative approach not only enhances accessibility but also reduces travel and accommodation costs for sponsoring companies.
