Logistics Management Education and CILT (UK) Training in Deepcut (UK) and Online
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) was formed in 2010 through the merger of the University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College Carmarthen, under Lampeter’s Royal Charter of 1828. In 2013, Swansea Metropolitan University became part of UWTSD.

The University’s main campuses are situated in various locations in and around Swansea’s city centre as well as in the rural towns of Lampeter and Carmarthen in South West Wales.
- MSc Logistics (part-time, 32 months): The MSc in Logistics is designed around three themes: logistics, business management and research. The program is underpinned by the study of logistics strategies and operations. Logistics management offers a career that will continually develop an individual’s potential and reward ambition in a challenging global environment. And since the demand for logistics professionals outstrips the supply, there are excellent opportunities for rapid career progression for those with the drive to succeed. Careers in logistics management offer early responsibility, exciting challenges with good remuneration and opportunities to travel.
- The course is delivered face to face classroom based at the Defence Logistics School (DLS), Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut (UK). Classes take place on 12 weekends spread across 24 months. In addition, there are two Summer Schools, each of 6 days duration.
- CILT(UK) Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport (24 months part time): This vocational qualification is designed to develop students with the knowledge and skills required to attain a higher management role in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector. Students can attend classes either in person in Swansea or virtually via webcasting and all lectures are recorded for viewing later. There are four mandatory modules and one research module which results in the production of a major report. The course is delivered face to face classroom based at the Defence Logistics School (DLS), Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut (UK). Classes take place on 10 weekends spread across 10 months.
- CILT(UK) Level 5 Professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport (8-12 months part time): This vocational qualification is designed to develop students with the knowledge and skills required to attain a management role in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector. Students are expected to complete four modules: 1 x Mandatory; 1 Elective module and 2 Optional modules. It is possible to complete 2 Elective modules and 1 Optional module if they wish. The course is delivered online with lectures pre-recorded using a software package called Panopto.
