Established in 1969, Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) is a public university located at Lappeenranta in Finland. The university campus is situated on the shore of one of Europe’s largest lake Saimaa in Lappeenranta. LUT has several internationally accredited Master´s programs including degrees with accreditations from EFMD`s EPAS-accreditation and EUR-ACE and ASIIN-accreditation.
With over 4800 students from over 70 different countries, LUT is ranked between 501-600 in the Times Higher Education ranking and among the top 400 universities in the QS World University Rankings. Master Program
- Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration - Supply Management (MSM) (2 years, English): Supply management is a unique program in Finland which provides expertise of strategic supply and supplier management. The program is designed to correspond to the growing needs of today's business life in terms of educating open-minded, innovative managers in the fields of supply management and purchasing. In this program you will focus on supply strategies, global challenges of sourcing and development of purchasing and supply chains.
- Career Prospects: You can find specialist and management positions in both the public and private sectors, as well as in global and local companies in the fields of supply management, international business, logistics, supply chain management and consulting. Examples of such positions include global sourcing director, supply manager, category manager and strategic buyer.
- Admission Requirements: A 3-4 year Bachelor of Science in Economics / Business Administration from a University or Bachelor of Business Administration from a Finnish University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor of Business Administration from an EU/EEA country University of Applied Sciences. A minimum of 80 ECTS credits of studies in Business Administration is required whenever the Bachelor's degree being completed in a country other than Finland. To be eligible to apply, you are required to have taken a program-specific GMAT or GRE Test/s. Your language test result has to be valid on the date of submitting your LUT application form.
