Established in 1809 and nationally recognized as one of the most outstanding undergraduate institutions, Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio. With a student body of 16,000, Miami effectively combines a wide range of strong academic programs with the personal attention ordinarily found only at much smaller institutions.
Founded in 1890, Miami University's reputation grew quickly, and it became known as the Yale of the West.
Approximately 14,500 undergraduates and 1,800 graduate students are enrolled at the Oxford campus. About 225 of the undergraduates attend one or two semesters at the John E. Dolibois European Campus in Differdange, Luxembourg. Two commuter campuses in the nearby cities of Hamilton and Middletown enroll nearly 5,000 additional students.

The Farmer School is composed of six departments. Also within the school are the Institute for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Business Excellence. The interdisciplinary Interactive Media Studies program has facilities in the Farmer School but draws its students and faculty from several divisions.

Undergraduate Program
- BS in Business with Supply Chain and Operations Management Major: This major provides an understanding of supply chain and operations management as a key business strategy. It enables students to develop skills for integrating key functions of procurement, production, marketing, logistics, accounting, and management informations systems, leading to successful operation of the entire SCM process.
- Students who graduate with a Supply Chain Management major are sought after for a variety of positions by a large number of firms that recruit at Miami. Many of those companies return year after year for Miami SCM graduates. Entry positions for SCM majors are frequently in the areas of logistics and transportation management, warehouse management, operations planning, purchasing and procurement, consulting, process improvement, and production management.

- At the Farmer School of Business, bachelor's degree majors are offered in eight areas: accountancy, business-economics, finance, interdisciplinary business management, management and leadership, management information systems, marketing, and supply chain and operations management. The flexibility of each program allows a student to pursue areas of special interests and needs. The School also offers associate's (two-year), and master's degree programs as well.
