Founded in 1962 and located in North Lake, Western Australia, IFAP (Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention) is a not-for-profit, member-based organization and an industry leading Registered Training Organization (RTO). IFAP also offers integrated health and safety consulting services, information resources and safety products as well organizing industry networking events and conferences.
IFAP train and educate around 9,000 people annually across a host of disciplines at its facilities and workplaces. IFAP is committed to providing quality vocational education and training to both industry and individual learners and, is accredited by ASQA, WORKSAFE, DMIRS and more.

Training Programs
Offshore & Maritime Safety
- CSTP - Common Safety Training Program (3 days): This course is designed for those working on offshore production and drilling facilities, as it is a requirement to have a CSTP card or be working towards obtaining one.
- CSTP - Common Safety Training Program for Experienced Workers (1 day): Persons wishing to undertake the CSTP for Experienced Workers must meet the requirements of an experienced worker.
- Health and Safety Representative - Maritime Industry (5 days): This course is designed for those who have been elected to represent the employees in their designated work group on matters of health and safety.
- Health and Safety Representative - Offshore Oil & Gas (5 days): This course is designed for those elected Health and Safety Representatives in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
- SSCP - Safe Supervisor Competence Program (2 days): This course is designed for those supervisors or frontline leaders who are required to meet the Australian oil and gas industry standard of competence necessary for attaining a SSCP card.
