The Australasian Maritime Institute (AMI) has been providing Training to the Australian and International Maritime Industries since its inception in 1992. Oil & Gas Courses

• Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET): The BOSIET course is a mandatory requirement for people wishing to work in the oil and gas industry, and is recognised in various regions around the world, including cold waters. The course is aimed at people with little or no exposure to the industry.
• Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET): The FOET course is a refresher course for students who have previously conducted the BOSIET or TBOSIET training. The FOET training is recognised in various regions around the world and includes cold water areas. The course is delivered to people who have had exposure to the oil and gas industry and a good level of knowledge is presumed.
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET): Many occupations require employee’s to undertake Helicopter Underwater Escape Training. The training is designed to prepare students for the unlikely event of being in a helicopter accident on both dry land and over water. Students will partake in a sea survival session where they will demonstrate various sea survival techniques.
• Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (TBOSIET): The TBOSIET course is a mandatory requirement for people wishing to work in the oil and gas industry, and is recognised in various regions around the world but is limited to warm water areas. The course is aimed at people with little or no exposure to the industry.
• Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET): The TFOET course is a refresher course for students who have previously conducted the BOSIET or TBOSIET training. The TFOET training is recognised in various regions around the world and includes cold water areas. The course is delivered to people who have had exposure to the oil and gas industry and a good level of knowledge is presumed.
