Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) is a public, nonprofit organization was established in 1967 as the Lakeshore Vocational, Technical, and Adult Education School. LTC is a leading provider of technical education offering over 100 career programs, customized training for business and industry, continuing education for personal and professional enrichment, and basic skills education.
The college operates a main campus in Cleveland, Wisconsin, additional learning sites at LTC Manitowoc and LTC Sheboygan, as well as Community Education Centers at east central Wisconsin high schools.
You can choose from more than 50 one-year and two-year programs that cover all the skills, knowledge and tools required to start a new career. The earn-while-you-learn apprentice programs with on-the-job training from leading employers and related classroom instruction are offered at LTC.
The college also offers certificate programs which helps study a concentrated area with few courses for those with limited time commitment.
LTC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission; a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Degree Program
- AAS Degree in Supply Chain Management (Full-time, Part-time, Online, Blended or Accelerated): It is exciting to be part of the materials / supply management field. New technology, use of the internet, and the business-to-business e-commerce explosion have made great advances in the materials / supply management field. If you like working with people, computers, and data and are interested in working in an ever-changing logistics, manufacturing, service, or health care field, a career in materials/supply chain management is for you. Possible careers include: Vendor-Managed Inventory Specialist; Material Controller/Coordinator; Buyer Planner/Scheduler; Enrty-level Project Coordinator; Global Sourcing Supply Specialist; and Logistician.
Certificate Programs
- Logistics & Distribution: The three course program is designed for the employed adult who wishes to gain skills in the principles of logistics and distribution and includes study related to transportation modes, costing, policy, and planning as well as considerations for operating globally. Those already in the fields of supply chain management and quality assurance, as well as those anticipating a career change will benefit from this practical training.
- Purchasing: This two-course program is designed for the working adult who wishes to gain new skills related to the purchasing function. The material covered will provide the learner with practiced skills in negotiating, basic material management, and purchasing fundamentals. These skills will prepare the individual with some business experience for an entry level position within the purchasing function.
