Established in 2012 and located in Santa Venera,Malta, Sailing School Malta is a leading Royal Yachting Association(RYA) and Transport Malta recognized sea school in Malta. Almost all the RYA courses up to Yachtmaster Ocean are available which includes sailing and motor skipper, powerboat and jetski courses, for both recreational sailors and commercial skippers. They also run skipper refresher or continuation courses, plus own boat tuition from our base in Malta.
Also available are the full range of shore-based theory and specialist RYA courses, needed in many cases to complete the criteria for certificates of competence. As well as the RYA courses, we also run the local Maltese courses approved by Transport Malta.
At Sailing School Malta, the instructors are highly qualified with a wealth of local knowledge to navigate and teach practical courses around the Maltese islands. The courses are suitable for a beginner or an experienced professional looking to top-up the skills.

Transport Malta Courses
- Transport Malta Nautical Licence: With TM Nautical License, you can crew any vessel (powerboat, sailing vessel, or Jetski) with a combined horsepower of 30Hp or above, up to 24m of length, to be driven for pleasure, or tow any person for the purpose of water skiing within the territorial waters of Malta.
