OPITO Certified Confined Space Rescue Training for Personnel Who Require Knowledge and Skills to Conduct Rescue from Confined Space

The aim of the Confined Space Rescue training is to provide delegates with the relevant knowledge and skills to carry out a Rescue from a Confined Space, whilst adhering to relevant legislative guidelines and Safe Systems of Work. Delegates will also be instructed and assessed in the use of appropriate PPE and equipment.

This training program is designed for personnel across the energy sector with an existing knowledge and understanding of Confined Spaces and the necessary skills for Confined Space Entry who are required to gain the knowledge and skills to conduct rescue from a Confined Space.

Upon completion of the course the learner will be able to understand and perform the necessary steps and identify the hazards and associated risks encountered when undertaking Rescue from a Confined Space and the generic safety regimes and safety management systems in place to control and mitigate risks associated with hazards. 

  • Duration: 13 hours
  • Validity: 3 years
  • Prerequisites: Delegates must possess a valid OPITO Confined Space Entry certificate
