South Portland Sailing Center had its beginnings as a sailing club with a fleet of dinghies in 2012. The classes were mostly introductory courses on small boats ranging from 10 feet to 14 feet. The center has a partnership with Harmony Sailing Academy to teach ASA classes out of Key West, FL and at Marina Hemingway in Havana, Cuba with Sail Havana.
