Halcyon Sailing is a fully accredited American Sailing Association sailing school and located at ake Huron at Port Sanilac marina. The Instructors have completed a rigorous evaluation process and are licensed by the USCG as Master Captains. The courses offered follow the curriculum developed by ASA. While many sailing programs in the area focus on racing, Halcyon Sailing is primarily focused in cruising and many have gone on to achieve certifications for bare-boat chartering in the Mediterranean or Caribbean. Michigan State University (MSU) Sailing Center - Haslett MI
The MSU Sailing Center was gifted to the University in the spring of 1997 and since then administered by MSU's Recreational Sports and Fitness Services Department. The facility consists of a one-quarter acre lot located in Meridian Township on the southwest shore of Lake Lansing about five miles from the MSU campus. The Sailing Center promotes student development by engaging MSU student staff in instructional and recreational programs offered by the MSU Sailing Center. The courses are open to MSU students and public.
