Jacomo Sailing School (JSC) - Kansas City MO

Founded in 1958, Jacomo Sailing Club is the oldest public sailing club in the Kansas City area. The club welcomes all including experiences ones or newbie. The activities are focused around Sunday afternoon races, though activities cover a broad spectrum and continue throughout the year. There are fleet activities forming every year for novice and junior sailors. The Jacomo Sailing Club is a member of both the Central States Sailing Association (CSSA) and US Sailing. JSC operates at Lake Jacomo; a 980-acre lake located 15 minutes southeast of downtown Kansas City. Along with the weekly Sunday race schedule the club hosts various activities, which include special racing clinics, dinners, regattas, parties and picnics which are held throughout the year.

The sailing school is part of the Ozark Yacht Club (OYC). The club caters to both power and sail boaters, offering eighty covered and open dock slips ranging from 12' x 24' to 20' x 60', some including private patios, all conveniently accessible with our courtesy golf carts over extra spacious paths all the way between your automobile and boat.

The St. Louis Sailing School is St. Louis' oldest continuously operating sailing school. The school continues to offer the high quality instruction and training to everyone from the beginner to the seasoned sailor who is striving to increase his or her sailing knowledge and skills. All of St. Louis Sailing School's instructors are certified by the American Sailing Association and each instructor holds a United States Coast Guard captain's or master's license. As an American Sailing Association affiliate school the school offers instruction and certification in a number of ASA courses.

Stockton State Park Marina Sailing School - Dadeville MO

The clear blue waters of Stockton Lake make Stockton State Park an ideal destination for water recreation. The 24,900-acre Stockton Lake was created when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers completed a dam across the Sac River near Stockton in 1970. Since then, the lake has become a favorite spot for fishing, swimming, skiing, scuba diving, and especially sailing. The open topography of the area allows a dependable southwest breeze for sailing.
