maritime training resources

Established in 2003 and located at Leonardtown in St. Mary’s County, MD, Maritime Training Resources offers USCG approved courses for the commercial and charter boat community in Southern Maryland region. The founding partners realized there was a need for professionally developed courses for the local charter boat community, which had very few options for obtaining high quality training for USCG approved courses.

They created the courses for the non-traditional students, folks who probably have not been in a classroom for many years and take pride in the success rate of the students and continues to improve the courses with the goal of offering students the best USCG approved training. USCG approved means that the courses satisfy all the requirements of the USCG for both training and examinations. All exams are administered at the facility in Lexington Park, Maryland.

The school no longer offering the courses. Please check our Maryland section for similar courses and programs or Online Options here
