ISPS & STCW Courses
- Ship Security Officer (SSO) Course (3 days): The aim of this course is to give those seeking a certificate of proficiency as a Ship Security Officer the essential education and training as described in STCW table A-VI/5. The course is designed for superyacht crew and seafarers working on board private yachts or commercial vessels requiring qualification and employment as a Ship Security Officer.
- ISPS STCW Proficiency In Designated Security Duties (PDSD) Course (1 day): This course gives the student the required knowledge to enhance Maritime Security awareness by recognizing security threats and understanding the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance as described in STCW table A-VI/6-2.
- ISPS STCW Proficiency In Security Awareness (PSA) Course (4 hours): This course gives the student the required knowledge to enhance maritime security awareness by recognising security threats and understanding the need for maintaining security awareness and vigilance as described in STCW table A-VI/6-1.
- Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Course (3 days): This three day intensive course meets the requirements of the United Kingdom’s Department for Transport (Maritime Security) Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) specifications as laid out in the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) and the guidance laid out in the SOLAS Regulations 1974.
