The professional services division of Logility provides educational opportunities for customers in industry and product-specific courses. The goal is to offer the most effective transition of knowledge to your key implementation team and ongoing users. Logility’s education offerings are provided on a regularly scheduled basis at the education center or on-site for your convenience.

These courses are designed to meet the needs of: current users looking to expand their skill set; existing customers wanting to train new personnel; new project teams initiating their implementations; and, casual users.

These workshops are developed and maintained to support the existing technical environments offered by Logility. The implementation consultants staffing these workshops are trained to provide you with updated information on the latest features of the Logility Voyager Solutions™ suite of products. In addition to educational opportunities for customers and partners, Logility University offers certification for each Logility Voyager Solution.

Logility Programs

  • Supply Planning Foundation (7 hours): This course will begin with an overview of Logility Supply Planning system navigation and functionality. From there, we will progress to an in-depth look at supply modeling (multi vs. single source, capacity constraints, production constraints and vehicle/ transportation constraints), and optimizing the supply chain. This course is designed with Supply Planning users and Super Users in mind.
  • Demand & Requirements Planning - Foundation Course (5.5 hours): This course is an introduction to all major tools and processes that are available in Demand Planning and Requirements Planning. It includes navigation, data and record maintenance, forecasting, and is a prerequisite to other Demand and Requirements Planning courses.
  • Logility Replenishment Planning - Foundation Course (4 hours): This course covers Logility Replenishment Planning. It will describe how to configure the system to generate order recommendations for purchased items, manufactured items, and transferred items. It will also discuss how to set up and use the various alerts to allow management by exception as well as what-if analysis to test different inventory targets before committing them.
  • Inventory Planning - Foundation Course (6.5 hours): Inventory Planning covers how the distribution network is built, how to manage safety stock and order policies and how to run simulations to compare the projected inventory investment and service level based on new stocking policies vs. the current stocking policies.
  • Manufacturing Planning - Foundation Course (9.5 hours): The purpose of this course is to educate the Manufacturing Planning core implementation team about the basic and intermediate functionalities of Manufacturing Planning as a Capacity Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Detailed Scheduling tool. The hands-on session trains participants via a step-by-step process of modeling a sample factory, incorporating one functionality at a time as it’s added to the model.
  • Manufacturing Planning Overview (1 hour): The purpose of this course is to educate the non-Manufacturing Planning team about the basic functionalities of Manufacturing Planning as a Capacity Planning and Detailed Scheduling tool.
  • Demand Optimization - Foundation Course (10.5 hours): The Demand Optimization foundation course is designed for Demand Analysts primarily responsible for producing and maintaining forecasts. The course provides an introduction to the Demand Optimization component through a series of discussions and hands-on exercises.
  • Retail Optimization - Foundation Course (5 hours): The RO Allocation course is designed for any company personnel involved in Store Planning or Allocation or those that provide input or insights into these functions. This course introduces the RO Allocation component through a series of discussions and application walkthroughs. The course is designed for both new Logility clients and current users who may have experienced additions or changes in staff.
  • Demand AI+ Foundation (5 hours): The Demand AI+ Foundation course is designed for any company personnel involved in managing demand, providing inputs or insights, or producing and maintaining forecasts. This foundation course introduces the Demand AI+ component through a series of discussions and application walkthroughs.
