JLS Yachts Training Institute provides high-standard maritime training, obtained both RYA and Highfields world-class standards. JLS Yacht Training Institute UAE is a fully recognized RYA Training Provider and is the leader in Pleasure and Light Commercial marine training in the Middle East. Depending on the course being delivered the class sizes range from 12:1 for First Aid and STCW courses, down to a maximum 3:1 per course during powerboat training. This allows maximum interaction between Instructor and student

Training Programs
JLS Yachts Courses
- Deckhand Course (16 hours): Your basic entry-level intro to the lucrative world of the Pleasure and Superyacht Industry. Excellent conditions, great compensation packages, great travel opportunities and mix with ‘The Rich and Famous’.
- Dockhand (16 hours): A modified version of the deckhand course designed for the Dockhand position on a modern marina. The Do’s and Don’ts of working safely and catering for both international and local boating members and guests.
- Yacht Practical (16 hours): Move to the next level and board the Alfa 32’ Sailing yacht or motor yacht Southern Explorer 55 for a 2 day blue water experience. Learn to live onboard with other Crew, Maneuver Yacht, Navigate, Yacht Husbandry, and Upkeep.
- Yacht Awareness (16 hours): Your basic awareness-level intro to the lucrative and active world of Pleasure Yachting Industry, Excellent conditions, great compensation packages, great travel opportunities, mix with the Rich and Famous.
- Introduction to Stewardess (16 hours): Coming soon in 2023
