Xclusive Sea School also gives the opportunity for career progression within Xclusive Yachts that owns a fleet of over 20 yachts of varying sizes. The Dubai Marina Yacht Club (DMYC) is one of the largest private yacht clubs in the world, with a stunning purpose-built clubhouse and four marinas spread over a manmade 3.5-kilometre canal.
Xclusive Sea School provides a unique experience by having theory lessons on board their 125ft luxury houseboat with all training aids inclusive. The boat is docked at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club and has restrooms, a galley area and amazing views of the Marina. The practical session is held at Dubai Marina on a 10mt twin engine power boat docked right across the houseboat.
Training Programs
STCW Programs
- STCW Basic Safety Training: The STCW Basic Safety Training course is the legal minimum requirement for anyone looking for commercial work aboard vessels over 24 meters, including Superyachts and Cruise ships. As well as the four core modules, the Proficiency in Security Awareness module is also includes as part of the course.
- The STCW Basic Safety Training course includes - Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1); Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention (A-VI/1-2); Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3); and Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (A-VI/1-4).

RYA Programs
- Power Boat Level 1 (1 day): This course is an introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.
- Power Boat Level 2 (2 days): This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planning speed, and collision regulations.
ICC Licence
- International Certificate of Competence (ICC) (1 day): Coaching & Training and Assessment & Test. Requirements include - Min 16 years of age and need min completion of practical RYA Day Skipper or RYA Powerboat Level 2
Other Programs
- One on One Training: Xclusive Sea School offers a personal one to one training on the school boats or yours to build confidence and help navigate better through rough sea conditions. The comprehensive training package enables an individual to better maneuver the boat and get that additional assistance on parking skills.
