Fryar's Maritime Services is the premier source for certification and training for maritime personnel pursuing maritime profession or upgrading their current license or merchant mariner's document by offering U. S. Coast Guard approved courses and License Examination Preparation.
Each course is taught to meet U. S. Coast Guard and Washington State standards.
With over 35 years of maritime industry experience, the senior instructor prepares applicants for U. S. Coast Guard licensing exams by attending an approved course or by a distant learning program utilizing an online curriculum.
All courses are self-paced, can start anytime, training can be held online or tested at Fryar’s Maritime for Coast Guard approved courses.
Training Programs
- Second Third Mate - Any Gross Tons - Near Coastal/Oceans (6-8 weeks)
- Master/Mate - 200 - 1600 Ton Inspected Vessels, Fishing Industry Vessels, Towing Vessels--Inland/ Near Coastal/ Oceans (6 weeks)
- Terrestrial Navigation -3rd & 2nd Mate, Master/Mate - 200 - 1600 Ton Inspected Vessels Near Coastal/ Oceans (2 weeks)
- Master or Mate 25-100 Ton - Inland or Near Coastal (3 weeks)
- OUPV (6 PACK) Inland/Near Coastal (2.5 weeks)
- Celestial Navigation (3.5 weeks)
