STCW Courses, Drills & Workshops, HAZWOPER, Shipyard Competent Person, and Other Marine Training Programs in Seattle
Established in 1985 and located in Seattle WA, NPFVOA Vessel Safety Program is a nonprofit education dedicated to sea safety education and training. NPFVOA provides hands on training and education to boost emergency preparedness for skippers and crews.
Developed in co operation with U.S. Coastguard, the NPFVOA vessel safety program remains a model safety program in the country. NPFVOA offers around 15 Coastguard approved training programs for mariners of all kinds including commercial fishing, small craft, recreation and research vessel crews.
NPFVOA Vessel Safety Program offers over Coastguard-approved hands-on safety training classes for mariners of all kinds, including small passenger, and workboat vessel crews. Most classes are held in its classroom at Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle, or onboard vessels.
However, past classes have been held throughout Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. Each course is 8 hours in length unless otherwise indicated.
