Worldwide Survival Training for Mariners, Off Shore Oil and Gas Personnel and Wind Technicians
Established in 1978, Maersk Training is an independent business within Maersk Group with worldwide training facilities open to all companies. Maersk Training focuses on training to be prepared for the great powers of both nature and technology and the training is designed to meet the challenges and the risks of the working environment.
Maersk Training covers a wide field of offshore industries and training needs, targeting each field with specific expertise.
Survival training is one of the oldest faculties of Maersk Training and have trained thousands of mariners, off shore oil and gas employees and wind technicians in the various disciplines demanded in the different industries.
The courses are delivered within the OPITO concept, STCW training and various other industry and company specific standards.
Maersk Training delivers the training with the emphasis on the participants applying the practical skills necessary to handle themselves and their colleagues in dangerous situations as well focusing on ensuring that the participants understand why it is important to know and be able to perform the different aspects of the training. Some of the training may be offered as training on vessels, off shore installations or onsite and, e-learning to supplement the training is also offered.
