Worldwide Oil & Gas Training at Maersk Training
Established in 1978, Maersk Training is an independent business within Maersk Group with worldwide training facilities open to all companies. Maersk Training focuses on training to be prepared for the great powers of both nature and technology and the training is designed to meet the challenges and the risks of the working environment. Maersk Training covers a wide field of offshore industries and training needs, targeting each field with specific expertise.
The Oil & Gas training includes, IWCF Surface and Subsea well control certification; Well specific HPHT Seminars; Deepwater well control; and Courses for Drilling Contractors personnel.
Oil & Gas Training: The Oil & Gas training section has an impressive portfolio. The main workhorse of the department’s practical tuition has been a DrillSim 5000 with additional backup out-of-house from a DrillSim 20. The new development will center around a DrillSim 6000 and with the complex linked to the present MOSAIC the system will simulate various well control. Also a Deepwater Well Control course has been started in response to the industry demands. Below you will find a list of courses offered around the world.
