Founded in 1979, Apt Safety Group is internationally recognized as a leader in the sector of onshore, offshore, marine, military, aeronautic and healthcare training and instruction. Apt Safety Group has a training center which covers an area of 12.000 sqm. Apt offers theoretical and practical training and training courses at the headquarters Achille Torti Educational Center in Sant'Alessio con Vialone and at the Training Center located in Bornasco, Località Guardabiate.

The center is equipped with fire-fighting simulators and cutting-edge equipment, a multi-storey building suitable for evacuation drills, an indoor swimming pool with a wave and rain generator which recreates adverse weather and sea conditions. Furthermore, Apt Safety Group benefits from an educational facility built in 2013 which extends over a space of 4.500 sqm and houses a conference room, laboratories, offices, classrooms and specific areas provided with medical emergency equipment.

Apt Safety Group organizes courses for personnel operating in the maritime sector and every course is conceived and developed in accordance with IMO STCW’95/10 laws and is approved by the Ministry of infrastructures and Transport. They also organize courses for personnel operating on offshore installations which are recognized and approved by OPITO.
