Maritime, Offshore and STCW Training Programs in Vlissingen and Curacao in Netherlands
Located at Vlissingen in the Netherlands, De Ruyter Training & Consultancy (DRTC) provides training in the maritime, offshore and logistics & transportation for the industry. Courses are given in close cooperation with theDe Ruyter Academy - Maritiem Instituut de Ruyter (MIR) in Vlissingen (MIR), ROC Zeeland and the local Fire Department. DRTC provides training mainly in Vlissingen and Curacao & also conduct training sessions onboard and/or on other locations.
DRTC provides various STCW and ISPS Security training programs for the maritime industry. All STCW courses are recognized by the Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport (ILT). They also provide various training sessions for offshore industry such a HLO, Calamity training, Firefighting, Medical Training, Coxswain. Instructions are provided in Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu.
Training Programs
Maritime STCW Courses
- Advanced Firefighting: Course the participant will receive the certificate Advanced Fire Fighting, STCW table A-VI/3.
- Basic Training: After successful completion of the course the participant will receive the certificate Basic Training STCW table A-VI/1, 2, 3, 4.
- ECDIS: The participant will receive certification Use of ECDIS Systems – STCW table A-II/1, table A-II/2, table A-II/3, STCW 7/Circ. 10 and IMO Model Course 1.27.
- Medical Care MC: Will receive Certification Medical Care, section A-VI/4, table A-VI/4-2.
- Medical First Aid MFA: Certification Medical First Aid, section A-VI/4, table A-V/4-1
- Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats: Participant will receive certificate in Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats, STCW regulation VI/2-2, section A-VI/2 table A-VI/2-2
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than fast rescue boats (PSC): Will receive the certificate Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats, STCW table A-VI/2-1.
- Refresher Courses in Basic Training, Advanced Fire Fighting & Proficiency in Survival Craft
Maritime Security STCW Courses
- Security Awareness training for all seafarers (SA): Certificate in Proficiency in Security Awareness, STCW regulation VI/6, section A-VI/6, table A-VI/6-1
- Designated Security Duties training (DSD): Participants will receive Proficiency in Designated Security Duties certificate, STCW regulation VI/6 section A-VI/6, table A-VI/6-2
